There are many things you can do to help ASCA “Save the Archives.”

  1. Write to the Board of Supervisors and the Library Commission and tell them you appreciate their efforts to move the Archives out of Los Guilicos.

  2. Share with the Board of Supervisors and the Library Commission that you look forward to being included in discussions about management and access to the records in their new temporary home.

  3. Ask the Supervisors and the Commissioners to seek input from stakeholders as they develop plans for a permanent, accessible space for the Archives.

  4. Contact the media and describe why the Sonoma County Archives is a valued resource to many and why public access to this unique collection is vitally important to current and future generations.

  5. And finally, you can support our efforts to advocate for a permanent facility, improved management, and access to the Sonoma County Archives with a donation (see below).
